Blobit Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 7, 2026

Overview

We do not collect any personal data ourselves. Blobit shows ads through Google AdMob, and Google's ads software in the app collects some device and usage data to show and measure those ads.

This policy covers Blobit: Orbit Hop for iPhone ("Blobit", "the app"), developed by Hussein Abdallah ("we", "us"). It explains what data is collected when you play, who collects it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

We collect none. Blobit has no accounts, no sign-in and no servers of our own, and we never receive your name, email, contacts or photos.

Your game progress is saved only on your iPhone: best score, stars, unlocked skins, sound setting, number of games played, and whether you own Remove Ads. It never leaves the device, and deleting the app deletes it.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

Blobit is free and shows ads from Google AdMob. Google's Mobile Ads SDK in the app collects the data below to deliver, limit and measure ads and to detect fraud. Google, not us, receives and controls this data.

DataExamplesUsed for
Device identifiersApple's advertising identifier (IDFA, only if you allow tracking), identifier for vendorShowing and measuring ads, fraud prevention
Approximate locationDerived from your IP addressChoosing relevant ads, legal compliance
Advertising and usage dataAds shown, taps on ads, app launches, ad interactionsMeasuring ads, frequency limits
DiagnosticsCrash and performance data of the ads SDKKeeping ads working

Ads appear between runs and as optional videos you choose to watch (to continue a run or double your stars).

Tracking permission. iOS asks whether Blobit may track you across other companies' apps and websites. If you choose "Ask App Not to Track", Google does not get your advertising identifier and you see less personalized ads.

Consent in the EEA, UK and Switzerland. Before any ads load, Google's consent form lets you accept or refuse personalized ads and data processing. Refusing still lets you play; ads are then non-personalized or limited.

Google's use of this data is described in the Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

In-app purchases

Apple processes the optional "Remove Ads" purchase. We never see your payment details, Apple ID or billing address. The app only learns from Apple whether you own Remove Ads, so it can turn off ads between runs and restore the purchase on a new device. Apple's handling of purchases is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Children's privacy

Blobit is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data through the app, contact us and we will help remove it.

Your choices and rights

You can limit ad data collection at any time, and you can play without allowing tracking or personalized ads.

Depending on where you live, for example under the GDPR in the EU and UK or the CCPA in California, you may have rights to access, delete or object to the use of your personal data. We hold no personal data about you, so most requests concern Google; contact us and we will help you exercise them.

Data retention and security

We keep no data, so there is nothing for us to retain or secure on our side. Game progress stays on your device until you delete the app. Google retains ad data according to its own policies, and data the ads SDK sends travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS).

Changes to this policy

If we add features that change what data is collected, such as new ad partners, leaderboards or accounts, we will update this policy and the "Last updated" date above before those features ship.
